Quote of the Day

Jess: "You can't say something like: 'Last night I went to Benihana for my mom's birthday. I ordered Hibachi Chicken and I also think all Republicans are soul-less money grubbing a-holes.' and expect that the part of it that is going to stick is the hibachi chicken. You know?"

Word.

More later,

Fill me in too, please. I don't get it. Maybe in the same way that I intrinsicly don't understand electricity because I'm a girl. Beth

Basically, someone we know was making these ridiculous comments and then getting upset when people quoted them back in her response, sort of like, "It's not fair that people took what I said out of context." Jess's point was that some things are offensive, regardless of context.... I should have given you guys a little of that context. :) My bad.

PS. Beth- don't you have some guy who can help you or are you all alone? :)
