Good Things in 2004
In no particular order, here are some of the highlights of my 2004:
- Passing the Bar exam! (This includes making it through the 3 months of waiting without having a major meltdown!)
- Going to see John Kerry speak on the eve of Election Day. I'll always be glad that my mom and I talked each other into going, regardless of the election outcome.
- The movie and soundtrack to "Garden State." I've said it before, but I'll say it again. If you haven't seen this movie or heard the music, you're missing out. Take my word for it.
- Getting to read non-school books again. One of my faves: "The DaVinci Code". I'm currently reading "My Life" by President Clinton and it's pretty interesting.
- The Pistons' championship run. Could beating Shaq, Kobe, and Company have been any more fun?!
- Our trip to Fripp Island... it was probably the most relaxed I've ever been in my life (except for the incident where I had to regulate on kids at the adult pool...). If I could go through every day of my life having nothing else to do but get a tan by the pool with some magazines and a frozen margarita, I'd be a happy camper.
- For once, having a great birthday celebration! This year went off without a hitch- hopefully, it's a sign of many, many fun birthdays to come.
- The Michigan/Michigan State football game... even if we did leave early... Thank God for TiVo.
